FIC America is fully committed to the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution, compliance with current environmental legislation, and fulfillment of our compliance obligations.
The scope and context of this policy cover all FIC America operations and business support functions including office or plant floor-based. The scope includes the design, installation, and maintenance of all manufacturing operations. The context includes environmental obligations to all Interested Parties including our suppliers.
The Environmental Management System (EMS) operated within FIC America is designed to comply with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.
This policy is reviewed annually and will be made available to all Interested Parties upon request.
Our key commitments are to:

• Ensure the EMS is an integral part of our business and culture by communicating the EMS policy to all employees.

• Strive to ensure all employees, contractors and customers and visitors are aware of the environmental impacts of our business and understand how we can work together in order to meet the needs of our business in a safe and sustainable manner. FIC America seeks to provide leadership towards continual improvement.

• Audit and report our environmental performance as a means to improve accountability and drive the continual improvement of our EMS.

• Ensure interested parties are made aware of their individual responsibilities contained within our EMS by effective communication.

• Ensure the needs and expectations of our Interested Parties are considered and met if deemed to be compliance obligations.

• Plan to achieve our Environmental Objectives.

• Maintain a high level of awareness of sustainability issues amongst our employees and integrate environmental management into training.

• Comply with all relevant U.S. EPA, State, and City legislation and regulatory requirements and agreements.

• Follow and promote the FIC Environmental Pledge.
